Hi, I'm Sally
With over 18 years of experience as an advanced massage therapist, trust you are in the right hands with me.
Whether you prefer deeper or lighter pressure, pregnancy massage or reflexology, I provide a variety of tailored therapeutic massage treatments that lead to lasting change and relaxation in your body.
Balancing relaxation with advanced massage techniques is a passion of mine, and I work with a therapeutic touch that provides effective treatment to release tension and ease discomfort.
Currently, I offer massage in Hayle at Thrive and The Attic Cellar Treatment Rooms in St Ives.
Looking for a mobile holistic therapist? I also massage at various local businesses and events and occasionally offer mobile visits in Redruth and the surrounding areas.
Please note that I am a PROFESSIONAL massage therapist. Inappropriate or offensive behaviour will be taken seriously and reported!
Treatments
Deep Tissue/Remedial Massage
Deep tissue massage is a more ‘powerful’ type of massage using increased pressure and specific techniques to work more deeply into areas of tension.
Pregnancy Massage
I have undertaken advanced training in pregnancy massage* and confidently treated many women throughout the trimesters and post-pregnancy.
Swedish/Holistic Massage
Swedish massage involves the use of a base oil (which is naturally unscented) and traditional Swedish massage techniques.
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy combines the use of a base oil with essential oils, which are naturally derived from plants and have potent therapeutic properties that have been used by mankind for 1000’s of years.
Reflexology
Reflexology encompasses the principle that there are energy zones which run throughout the body.
Indian Head Massage
Indian head massage helps to relieve tension around the scalp, neck, base of the skull and tops of shoulders.
Reiki
Reiki aims to help restore energy flow and disperse areas that may have become ‘congested’ through physical or emotional trauma or upset.

About
Massage Pressure
Whatever your preference on massage pressure, you’re in good hands.
Recent studies in manual therapy have indicated that intolerable pain can stimulate the nervous system to tense muscles and is not always a ‘means to an end’. In my experience, it has been counterproductive for some clients in providing beneficial, longterm ease, especially with chronic conditions.
Pressure (and sometimes, discomfort) is often necessary to work into deeper tissue, but I believe how that pressure is applied is key!
Whilst many clients come to me because I do not do ‘airy-fairy’ massage, I do not inflict excruciating pain either. I am able to provide strong pressure if desired but I employ many levels of pressure during treatment*.
I encourage honest feedback from clients during treatment and check my pressure to ensure clients are comfortable.
Massage In Hayle
My relaxing treatment room at Thrive in Hayle is the perfect Oasis. Overlooking the River and surrounding wildlife you can melt away your stress and tension on my cosy couch.
There is limited parking available outside the centre, and lots of options within a 2-min walk, plus a warm, comfortable reception area to relax as you wait.
All booking must be made in advance and full directions will be given on confirmation.

GUATAMA BUDDHAIt can be a daunting (& frustrating) task trying to find the right massage therapist!
I aim to make clients feel comfortable by being down to earth and honest, and I endeavour to address any concerns regarding treatment.
My emphasis is to promote preventative health care and increase awareness of one’s body by helping to ease pain and discomfort, offering practical advice and improving mobility where necessary.
I combine all the techniques I have learned over the years to provide the most beneficial treatment.
