I am qualified in deep tissue, swedish (holistic), aromatherapy and pregnancy massage. I am also qualified in Indian head massage, reflexology and reiki. Explanations of treatments are listed to give an understanding of what they are, however when booking a massage…
…I intuitively integrate techniques from all the massage disciplines I have learned within one treatment for ultimate benefit.
I may incorporate elements of Indian head massage to help relieve tension in the scalp caused by tight muscles in neck and shoulders. Other considerations include preferred pressure, areas of concern and/or discomfort and ultimately, what you wish to attain from your treatment.
My natural pressure tends to be firm and I can adapt this to be deep or light as is necessary – every body is different. Generally speaking, I do not offer the depth of pressure that is associated with most sports massage treatments.
As a trained aromatherapist, I am qualified to pre-blend essential oils to use in my treatments. I change the blends regularly, often to reflect the change in season and use in treatment together with a plain, unscented base oil.
Please let me know if you prefer not to have essential oils used &/or you have specific allergies or dislikes to any particular oils.
I do not use nut oils, but please inform me if you have a nut allergy, as I cannot guarantee a nut-free environment. Please also let me know if you are coeliac as some blends may contain wheatgerm oil.
During consultation, I will establish what you would like to achieve with the time you have booked and explain suitable options to ensure I can meet your expectations and you are happy with the treatment we have discussed.

Since the pandemic, I am seeing less mobile clients. Please contact me to enquire and I can confirm availability.
Mobile visits are available at a minimum of £55/hour within a 5-mile radius of Redruth and a minimum of £60/hour for areas from 5-15 miles.
For locations greater than 15 miles/30 minutes from Redruth or for group bookings (of 3 or more), I will confirm feasibility and provide a mobile rate prior to booking.
I do not visit sole male clients at home.
I will discuss your needs and expectations during initial consultation and advise on what I think the best options will be to address specific issues.
I aim to keep consultations brief. If you have a detailed medical history and/or chronic conditions you would like to discuss, please inform me beforehand as extended consultation time will shorten time spent on the couch.

Please note that I am a professional massage therapist. Inappropriate behaviour will be taken seriously and reported.

onsite (seated) chair massage for offices and events
Onsite chair massage (also sometimes referred to as ‘seated’ or ‘office’ massage) is a fully-clothed, seated massage designed to be quick & effective and is performed on a specifically designed portable massage chair.
The treatment was originally developed for the office environment and is ideal when privacy is not an option (ie. in the public arena, at events, etc).
The routine is based on traditional Japanese acupressure techniques and targets areas more commonly susceptible to tension, ie. back, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and scalp.
Appointments can range from 10-25 minutes and lack of oil means no greasiness on skin or hair and no oil marks on clothing!
The routine aims to increase energy levels, alleviate muscular tension and stress and has been introduced by many companies to reward staff and look after their wellbeing.
On-site massage aims to help…
I have worked with both large, corporate companies/organisations (BP, Tesco, The British Library, Sky, AOL, Citigroup)
and smaller businesses for many years, developing good working relationships with all of them.
I have also massaged staff at various schools and worked at numerous trade fairs and events over the years, from charity to corporate.
These include several ‘Vintage Tea Party’ events hosted by Angel Strawbridge (from C4’s ‘Escape to the Chateau’ series), which were spectacularly planned by Angel’s impeccable eye for detail and design and were lots of fun!
Other treatments are available on site (reflexology, Indian head and hand massage) and where a private space can be arranged, I can also offer couch treatments.
If you are interested in introducing On-site massage into your workplace or would like to organise an event or a trial/taster day, please contact me for more information here
Prices Start at £60/hour.
Prices vary depending on location and the amount of people, etc. I will offer advice and quote prices when arranging the booking to provide the most suitable package to address your requirements.
“From my first treatment in our office some years ago to the present day, I have always found Sally to be professional, informative and caring.
Over the years I have had regular sessions with Sally and I have varied my treatments from Deep tissue massage through reflexology, to Indian head and face massage all of which she does amazingly well! She is flexible in her schedule to accommodate my shifting meetings and will always do what she can to accommodate that last minute change or squeeze an extra session in. I would not hesitate to recommend Sally to others”
